Lancashire Book Of The Year

Welcome to the 24th Lancashire Book of the Year – Reading Bites

The shortlist is finally here after almost 500 year 9 students from 12 high schools around Lancashire read 80 books – and voted for their favourites. This process began last September and now you have the opportunity to vote for your favourite.

Many schools are also 'Shadowing' this award – so look out in your school libraries and Learning Resource Centres for Reading Bites posters and book marks.

The winning book will be announced at County Hall, Preston on 28th May 2010 – so be sure to check these pages for the result. The most popular book voted for on-line will carry one vital vote – so make sure you vote for your favourite!
