Library Refurbishments - Oswaldtwistle

The programme, part of Lancashire County Council's Library Regenerate Programme, aims to create modern, attractive and flexible spaces from which staff can deliver the wide range of services, traditional and new, which meet the needs and expectations of local communities across the county.

The new look library has been designed to provide a light, spacious and open environment with a plasma screen providing information on a range of library services and community news, and 12 computers with internet access for the public to use for free.

Automatic doors have also been fitted to make the library fully accessible, moveable shelving to create flexible community spaces and a public toilet and baby changing facility to ensure using the library is an enjoyable experience.
