Background

The Road Safety Group is part of the Traffic and Safety Section within the Environment Directorate. The Team of around 20 Advisers and Administrators facilitate the education and training of all types of road users across Lancashire. These programmes are supported by our specialist marketing and publicity (M & P) team.
These are exciting times for the M & P team within the Group in promoting the Group’s work to stakeholders and citizens. There are literally hundreds of great stories about effective road safety education and training to read about on our website.

Together We Can Make the Difference

The Road Safety Group has developed and pioneered the campaign. It is managed from the offices in Preston. The objectives are governed by road crash casualty statistics and the Department for Transport (DfT) calendar of publicity campaigns.
