The Minerals and Waste Development Scheme is intended to act as a ‘project plan’ to guide the production of the Development Framework for Lancashire. It specifies which documents will be prepared and the timetable for their production. It provides the starting point for the Community and other stakeholders to find out what documents we intend to prepare and the key stages for involvement.
Because circumstances could change the MWDS is reviewed and rolled forward each year to take account of progress on the work programme and the monitoring work that has been taking place.
The current Development Scheme for 2008 – 2012 was adopted in March 2009.

Owing to changes in national planning regulations no new scheme was published for 2007 – 2011. Please refer to the current Development Scheme for full details.
