Eaves Green Link Road

Chorley is a step nearer to getting the Southern western bypass built as the County Council moves forward with the Eaves Green Link Road.

The County Council, as the Highway Authority, has awarded the contract to Birse Civils Ltd., part of the Balfour Beatty Group, to construct the Link Road.

The work will commence on Monday, 4th December and is programmed to be complete in Autumn 2007.

Letters are being sent to households in the area outlining the scheme. An electronic version (259k PDF) is available to download and print.
