(B5275 LANCASTER ROAD, MORECAMBE, LANCASTER CITY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of B5275 Lancaster Road (left turn filter running between 184 Bare Lane to 286 Lancaster Road), Morecambe, from its junction with Bare Lane to its junction with B5275 Lancaster Road, in the City of Lancaster.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is via: -
Bare Lane and B5272 Lancaster Road.
Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow sewerage maintenance work to be carried out.
The prohibition will be operative from 08.00 hours on Monday 20th October 2008 until 17.00 hours on Friday 31st October 2008, or until completion of the works within this period.
