THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SCOTCH GREEN LANE, INGLEWHITE, PRESTON CITY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Scotch Green Lane, Inglewhite, approximately 300 metres between Little Scotch Green and Whin House, in the City of Preston.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is via: -
Stana Lee Lane – Bleasedale Road – Button Street – Carron Lane – Bilsborrow Lane and vice versa.
Access to properties will be maintained.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow electric cable diversion to be carried out.
The prohibition will be operative from 09:00 hours on Monday 13th October 2008 until 17:00 hours on Friday 7th November 2008, or until completion of the works within this period.
