THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARRS LANE, AUGHTON, WEST LANCASHIRE DISTRICT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Parrs Lane, Aughton, from its junction with Prescot Road to its junction with Long Lane, in the District of West Lancashire.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is via: -
Prescot Road – Long Lane and vice versa.
Access to properties will be maintained at all times, from Long Lane.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow sewer renewal works to be carried out.
The prohibition will be operative from 07:30 hours on Monday 6th October 2008 until 18:00 hours on Friday 31st October 2008, or until completion of the works within this period.
