Facit Quarries

This site is located along the western edge of the Whitworth Valley and Cowm Reservoir. The site was a major eyesore but was reclaimed to provide attractive woodland. There are several footpaths leading through the woodland areas and onto Cowm Reservoir and Whitworth.
