This new web page has been created to assist and provide information for Lancashire County Council’s existing and prospective Transport Providers. There will be further developed over the coming months and any suggestions on improvements would be welcome.
NEW FORMS FOR NEXT TENDER ROUND
From the forthcoming tender round (see Latest Tenders), all Operators considering tendering for contracts will be required to complete additional forms along with the quoted price. These are an Operator Quality Assessment (OQA) Form and Company Details and Tender Certificates Form (see Reference Pages for example forms). The OQA Form will form the basis on which all future contracts will be awarded.
Contracts to be awarded will be in accordance with the following award criteria:
- Being a suitably qualified operator having met the minimum requirements of the Council;
- Having the appropriate licence(s);
- Having the appropriate insurance;
- If a tender satisfies these criteria it will then be awarded on the basis of 80% price and 20% quality.
- In the event of an alternative timetable this will be evaluated on its merits against other tenders.
