Burnley Bus Station

About

Burnley's state of the art Bus Station is a flagship project funded jointly by Lancashire County Council and Burnley Borough Council. The new £3 million facility was opened in the autumn of 2002 by Professor David Begg, Chair of the Commission for Integrated Transport.

Architecturally designed to be a safer and more pleasant environment for passengers - it features the following facilities:

  • 18 departure bays accessed by automatic doors
  • Electronic passenger departure boards
  • A staffed information centre
  • Newsagent
  • Cafe
  • Toilet and baby changing facilities
  • CCTV coverage
  • Taxi rank
  • Cycle parking
