Inspection Success

Following its recent inspection, Lancashire Adult Learning has been judged to be one of the very best providers of adult and community learning in the country.

In November 2004, the service was inspected by the Adult Learning Inspectorate. 39 inspectors spent two weeks with the service undertaking and observing over 300 lessons and meeting over 1,000 learners. Leadership and management were considered to be good by the inspectors with the service’s approach to equality and diversity judged to be outstanding. The majority of curriculum areas were also assessed by inspectors as being good.
