Facilities and Services

Woodlands Conference Centre provides a tranquil setting in 28 acres of woodlands, lawns and gardens. Ideally located on the outskirts of Chorley and minutes away from motorway and railway networks, Woodlands is one of the most flexible and attractive centres in the North West.

Dedicated to conferencing and training, Woodlands provides un-matched meeting, training and conference facilities supported by experienced staff and excellent catering facilities.

The well-equipped rooms are furnished throughout with the most advanced facilities and come complete with the latest audio-visual ICT and presentation equipment. These are all provided free of charge with the hands on help of our dedicated IT and AV specialist throughout your event.

The extensive grounds provide an ideal setting for team-building activities and break out groups to drive home training messages.

Conferences

Three conference halls at Woodlands Conference Centre provide the setting for your conference and are fully air conditioned.

The Oak Room, our premier conference suite is designed to seat 250 people theatre style with high tech facilities to meet your every need; from a complete sound system to the ceiling-mounted digital projector and electronic screen.

The Elm Room seats 180 people and the Rowan Room 70 in theatre style. All our conference facilities offer natural daylight, providing you with a comfortable, well lit, and excellently appointed working environment.

State of the art facilities in each of our conference rooms will ensure your conference needs are catered for - and dedicated staff are on hand to provide you with support during your time at Woodlands.

Exhibitions

The main exhibition area is adjacent to the reception area and has just benefited from a total refurbishment providing new seating and a peaceful haven from the rigours of the conference or training.

The area could provide you with a chance to register your delegates without interruption before they attend any seminar or conference.

The exhibition area also provides an additional facility for your dining needs.

Training

Ten seminar rooms provide the space to train your staff, provide a workshop environment or an alternative location away from the office to ensure your visitors can focus on your event.

All our rooms at Woodlands Conference Centre come complete with access to the full range of business services from photocopying to fax, telephone, document scanning and message handling.

All our seminar rooms can be adapted to your preferred seating style from theatre style to boardroom or classroom formats. Our larger seminar rooms in a theatre style arrangement can cater for up to 50 people while our more intimate settings provide an executive boardroom style for six people.

Reception

Our fully serviced reception area will provide you with instant help throughout your conference and an immediate welcome for your visitors. The integrated plasma screen within the area offers the opportunity to introduce conference details as your guests arrive.

Catering

Your visitors will be treated to a first class dining experience whether it's simply a coffee break or a three course lunch to break up the day's conference. Evening dining can also be catered for - to round off a day's meeting and provide an opportunity to chat about the event.

Our experienced staff are used to catering for large numbers and are located within the centre. We pride ourselves on quality and service meeting all your specific requirements, be it a cold buffet, hot meals or simply afternoon tea. A variety of menus are offered to suit all occasions and needs and examples can be seen overleaf. Chilled water, cordial and mints are provided in each conference room.
